El Lopo
El Lopo is a casual neighborhood bar from an alternate reality in which modern-day California is still a Spanish territory. We serve snacks and drinks inspired by the flavors and tropes of Spanish bar culture, but highlighting California’s bounty with seasonal and local ingredients.

Become a member
take-care-of-me club members receive dine-in credits. Use these credits for à la carte ordering or for the take-care-of-me experience, where unencumbered by choosing from a menu, we bring you a chef's selection of food and drinks based on your preferences and hunger level.
el lopo tasting club members receive a bottle and a snack or two hand-selected for your enjoyment at home.
Members of both clubs will enjoy:
- free admittance and early registration for virtual and onsite events such as trivia night, lectures, and tastings (covers your +1 as well)
- access to deeply discounted pricing on full cases of wine
- a dedicated intake form and feedback channel so we can learn about your palate and make personalized selections for you
Pickup: 3-9 pm Friday to Sunday at El Lopo, 1327 Polk St, San Francisco
Delivery: Tasting club boxes can be delivered anywhere in San Francisco, Friday to Sunday 3-9 pm
Important Dates:
- Order by Wednesday 7 pm to receive at-home boxes between Friday to Sunday of that week.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I use the take-care-of-me club?
As a take-care-of-me club member, you have a house account at El Lopo that can be used for all dine-in expenses. Upon joining, we will send you an intake form to gather your preferences so we can customize the membership to you.
To best enjoy your membership, please make a note that you are a member when making an online reservation, or directly text us at (415) 237-3072 to let us know that you'll be arriving at least 30 minutes beforehand.
How does my house account work?
Every take-care-of-me club member receives a house account at El Lopo. When you let the staff at El Lopo know that you're a member either through leaving a note on your online reservation, texting them ahead of your visit, or telling the staff when you're at EL Lopo, you have the option to pay for your meal with your house account.
New credits will be added to your house account on the 1st of each month. Credits do not expire. If your meal happens to cost more than the amount of credits you have remaining, the difference will be charged to your card on file automatically.
You will still get a receipt for your meal, but you will not settle the bill using your credit card. Please note a 20% gratuity is automatically added to orders made through your house account, so the total on your receipt (which does not include gratuity) will be less than the amount deducted from your house account.
How do I receive my tasting club box?
You can get your tasting club box on any of Friday to Sunday 3-9 pm by:
- picking up at El Lopo, 1327 Polk St, San Francisco, or
- getting delivery anywhere in San Francisco. +$7
Order before Wednesday 7 pm to receive your box on the upcoming Friday to Sunday.
Can you accommodate any dietary restrictions?
Yes! Vegetarian, pescatarian, and gluten-free diets can be accommodated. El Lopo is unable to accommodate vegan diets at this time.
